Mr. Johnson Ireri Kinyua

Johnson Kinyua holds an MBA Degree in Strategic Management, B.Com Undergraduate Degree (Management major) both from the University of Nairobi, Master in Public Administration (Public Sector Reforms) 2015 to date from the University of Nairobi and currently finalizing a PhD in Human Resources Management from Jomo Kenyatta University (JKUAT). In addition, Johnson holds Higher Diploma in HRM (2008) from the Institute of HRM, Ethics Officers Certification Programme (EOCP), 2010 from the Ethics Institute of South Africa and a Certificate in Volunteer Programme Development and Management (VPDM), 2009 from Xavier University, Philippines. He is currently the Dean of Students and Career Services at the University of Nairobi and immediate former Director of University Advancement, University of Nairobi and former Executive Director of University of Nairobi Alumni Association (UONAA).

Ms. Naomi Nyaboga, MPRSK

Chief Information Officer

Naomi Nyaboga is a Communications, Information and Knowledge Management Professional. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Science (Publishing and Media Studies) from Moi University and a Master of Arts Degree in Communication (Development) from Daystar University. She is the Career Chief Information Officer in charge of Information and Knowledge Management, Communication and Publicity at the Office of the Dean od Students and Career Services, University of Nairobi and former Communications Officer at the Consortium for National Health Research.

Assistant Executive Secretary

Ms. Imbayi M. Carolyne

Carolyne Imbayi is an Administrative Assistant Executive Secretary in the Office of the Dean of Students and Career Services, University of Nairobi.  She holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Finance Option), and a Diploma in Business Management (DBM) from University of Nairobi  and is currently a continuing student of Master of Science in Finance (Finance & Investments) at University of Nairobi.   She gained her secretarial skills at the National Youth Service Secretarial College, now NYS School of Business, Nairobi, after completion of paramilitary training at the NYS Training School, Gilgil.

Ms. Imbayi is currently the Executive Secretary to the Office of the Dean of Students and Career Services, University of Nairobi.  She has previously worked with different offices and departments within University including Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Student Affairs, Centre for International Programmes & Links, (CIPL), Department of Human Pathology, School of Medicine, and Department of Periodontology & Community Dentistry, School of Dental Sciences, College of Health Sciences.

Skills: Routine Secretarial duties, minute writing, report writing, PC reporting and updating, website champion, management of procurement process for the office.

Silvester Gitonga

Office Assistant

Silvester Gitonga is an Office Assistant in the Office of the Dean of Students and Career Services. He previously served as a  Messenger in the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Students Affairs/Registrar Students Affairs Office and the Department of Surgery and Bursars Office, College of Health Sciences.

Sylvester has a certificate in Psychology and Counselling from the Career Preparatory Center (CPC) and possesses HIV/AIDS Management Counseling Skills with Certification from the East Africa Institute of Certified Studies (EAICS). In addiiton, he has great computer skills.
