Mr. Johnson Ireri Kinyua

Director (OCS)

Johnson Kinyua holds MBA (Strategic) 2009, B.Com (Management) 1999, Master in Public Administration (Public Sector Reforms) 2015 to date from the University of Nairobi and currently finalizing a PhD in Human Resources Management (2015) from Jomo Kenyatta University (JKUAT). In addition, Johnson holds Higher Diploma in HRM (2008) from Institute of HRM, Ethics Officers Certification Programme (EOCP), 2010 from Ethics Institute of South Africa and a Certificate in Volunteer Programme Development and Management (VPDM), 2009 from Xavier University, Philippines. He is currently the Director, Office of Career Services at the University of Nairobi and immediate former Director of University Advancement, University of Nairobi and former Executive Director of University of Nairobi Alumni Association (UONAA).

Ms. Naomi Nyaboga

Chief Information Officer

Naomi Nyaboga is an Information Science and Communications professional. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Science (Publishing and Media Studies major) from Moi University and a Master of Arts Degree course in Communication (Development) from Daystar University. She is the Career Chief Information Officer in charge of Information and Knowledge Management, Communication and Publicity at the Office of Career Services, University of Nairobi and former Communications Officer at the Consortium for National Health Research.

Specialties: Communication, Information and Knowledge Management, Content Development, Rapporteuring, Report Writing, Programme Management, Proposal writing. Naomi also has a keen interest in Rapporteuring services and branding students for the job market.

Ms. Ruth Nderitu

Assistant Secretary

Ruth Nderitu holds a Diploma in Secretarial Studies from FutureCom Business College.  She has trained in Business English III, Commerce II, Secretarial Duties II, Office Practice II, Office Management III, Personnel Management III, Shorthand III (120wpm), Typewriting Advance (50wpm) and Computer Skills.

She is currently the Assistant Secretary in the Office of Career Services, University of Nairobi. Ruth has previously worked with different offices and department with University including The Procurement and Department of Environmental and Biosystems Engineering.

She has also worked in the Principal’s Office at the College of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences and the Registrar’s Office, Upper Kabete Campus.
