The University is conducting training facilitated by the ICT Centre from Monday September 27, 2021 to Friday October 1, 2021 for all the First Year Students 2021.  This training is quite important as it will help the students familiarise themselves with the Online Learning, Processes and Systems.  Kindly facilitate the students in your Faculty/Department to attend.

IBM CALL FOR CODE 2021 CHALLENGE

To all Students

IBM recently launched the Call for Code 2021 Challenge.

Students are invited to the “Journey to Call for Code Boot Camp” for University students in Africa & Europe. This will comprise of a series virtual training sessions and mentorship on various topics such as:

  1. Design Thinking & Agile Methodology on 3rd June, 2021
  2. Artificial Intelligence on 17th June, 2021
  3. Data Science and Machine Learning on 24th June
  4. Blockchain on 1st July, 2021
  5. Internet of Things on 1st July, 2021

In addition, there will be talks by experts on Climate Change with the sub-themes of Clean Water & Sanitation, Zero Hunger, and Responsible Production and Green Consumption, which are the themes of the challenge this year.

The objective of the boot camp is to give you the necessary preparation as a student to effectively participate in the Challenge.

Up for grabs is a Grand Prize award of USD 200,000 in addition to other prizes.
