The *#FursaVsVirus Challenge* is an initiative by the National Youth Council to facilitate the creation of tech and non-tech solutions to the challenges posed by the corona virus pandemic and for the economic recovery of the country. This is in line with this year’s theme of International Youth Day 2020, *Youth Engagement for Global Action*. The *best solutions will be selected and will be fully implemented* in collaboration with participating partners and sponsors. Thematic areas of focus are *Education, Food Security, Environment & Energy, Government Support, Business & Economy and Social Welfare*.
You can take part as a *participant, mentor or sponsor*. We encourage as many youth as possible across the country to sign up as participants as they will gain new skills, enjoy quality mentorship and become beneficiaries of potential business outcomes. Sponsors will get to grow their brand presence as youth-focused organizations and will access technical and non-technical solutions to business and economic problems. They will also enjoy indirect reach to a targeted 13.7 million youth through radio, TV and social media. Mentors will have an opportunity to interact with and impact many youth.
